Peter is a professional company Director and joined the NZBPT in 2010, assuming the role of Chair in May 2017.
In 2009 he retired after 21 years with BP, the last 10 of which he was Managing Director of BP NZ. He has previously served on the Boards of NZ Refining Company Ltd, Liquigas Ltd, Wanganui Gas Ltd, NZ Oil and Gas Ltd, Bitumix Ltd and the Civil Aviation Authority.
He is currently Board Chair of Metro Performance Glass Ltd, a corporate member of the Trust and Director/owner of Barrier Air.
Peter holds a BSc (Hons) from Victoria University Wellington. He is considered to be an Independent Director.
