The Trust held its second Parliamentary Seminar for the year on Wednesday 21 June: ‘Machinery of Government and Parliament: Taking a Closer Look’.
The seminar began with the Chief Executive, Darryl Stevens and Peter Griffiths, Chair of the Trusts presentation. Followed by presentations by Sam Moffett (Legislation Coordinator, DPMC), Dave Hawkins (Senior Private Secretary), Lisa Petraschuck (Senior Ministerial Advisor), Talisa Kupenga (Senior Press Secretary), Philippa Bell (Director of the Labour Leader’s Office), Lil Anderson (Chief Executive at Tea Arawhiti), James Picker (Clerk Assistant), Ben Logan-Milne & Anna Gorham (Managers of the Select Committee).
Attendees from our pool of corporate members had the opportunity to network with Parliamentarians over lunch, participate in a Mock Select Committee training, and interact with peers from the business community.
